　　I. 聽(tīng)力技能
　　本部分側(cè)重考查學(xué)生從錄音材料中獲取信息、理解信息和處理信息的能力。命題時(shí)要盡量選用口語(yǔ)材料，不應(yīng)在脫離語(yǔ)境的情況下單純考查語(yǔ)言基礎(chǔ)知識(shí)。在反應(yīng)題中應(yīng)盡可能命制一些開(kāi)放性試題，在一個(gè)較完整的語(yǔ)境中考查學(xué)生的真實(shí)表達(dá)能力。答題形式相同的理解題，不論選項(xiàng)是以圖片還是文字形式呈現(xiàn)，應(yīng)列于同一題型內(nèi)考查，以確保試卷結(jié)構(gòu)簡(jiǎn)約、卷面閱讀量不降低。

Yueyang Tower lies on the east of the Dongting Lake and in the northwest of Yueyang City. It is about 300 meters long and 130 meters wide.
    Yueyang Tower is very famous. It is one of the three most famous towers in China. And it has a history of 1,800 years.
    Yueyang Tower was built in 215 and rebuilt in 1983. On May 1, 1984, it was opened to the public. Since then, thousands of tourists have visited Yueyang Tower. They have not only learned about its history but also had a better understanding of its spirit "To be the first to worry about the affairs of the state and the last to enjoy oneself!".
If you want to visit Yueyang Tower, you can get there either by water or by land.

II. 知識(shí)運(yùn)用
本部分側(cè)重考查學(xué)生在一定的語(yǔ)境中靈活運(yùn)用語(yǔ)法、詞匯等語(yǔ)言知識(shí)的能力。單項(xiàng)填空題要注
意加大考點(diǎn)的覆蓋面，力求題干語(yǔ)境真實(shí)、語(yǔ)義豐富、表達(dá)地道。完形填空題應(yīng)避免單純根據(jù)語(yǔ)法結(jié)構(gòu)設(shè)疑，要在重點(diǎn)考查閱讀理解能力的同時(shí)，測(cè)試考生通過(guò)上下文靈活運(yùn)用語(yǔ)言知識(shí)的能力，選材以記敘文或夾敘夾議的文章為宜。要注意選項(xiàng)的同質(zhì)性，力求類(lèi)別相同、先后有序、長(zhǎng)短一致、難度相當(dāng)，以提高試題的信度和效度。

III. 閱讀技能
初中英語(yǔ)學(xué)業(yè)考試應(yīng)把閱讀技能作為主要考查內(nèi)容，著重考查學(xué)生從各種書(shū)面材料中獲取信息、理解信息和分析、處理信息的能力。所選材料要力求體裁多樣、題材豐富、時(shí)代感強(qiáng)，內(nèi)容要充分考慮學(xué)生的實(shí)際生活和身心發(fā)展水平、地域以及文化差異，要能啟迪人生。由于承載信息媒介的日益多樣化，命題時(shí)要適當(dāng)選用一些實(shí)用性的語(yǔ)言材料，如廣告、告示、說(shuō)明書(shū)、指令、圖表等。

During the day we work and play, at night we sleep. Our body rests while we sleep. Students who are tired usually need more sleep. If we want to be strong, we must get plenty of sleep.
People around the world care about their sleep and ask themselves questions about sleep on March 21. Why ? Because it is World Sleeping Day.
Why do we need sleep? Nobody can give a perfect answer to this question. However, tests have shown that if a person is lack (缺乏) of sleep for more than four hours a day, he or she will lose weight, drop body temperature and finally get ill.
Different people need different amounts (數(shù)量) of sleep. Eight hours a night is considered the average (平均的) amount of sleep. Primary school children need at least ten hours, junior high school students nine hours and senior high school students eight hours.
Here are some of the most useful suggestions for a good night's sleep.
